From the first week of semester to graduation day, a food truck fits campus life. Whether you are on a student life team, a student union, a faculty office or a facilities and events crew, we feed big student crowds fast and keep your event easy to run. It is not only student events: faculty and department teams book us for staff days, symposiums and research launches too.
The busiest week on campus. Fast service and crowd pleasing menus that pull students in and keep the queue moving between sessions.
Feed prospective students and their families across a long day, with food that makes the campus feel welcoming and alive.
Mark the milestone for graduates, staff and families, or cater a faculty function, symposium or research launch.
Staff appreciation lunches, club and society events and student union days, fed inside the break.
Campuses move in waves. A few hundred students hit the lawn between lectures, everyone wants lunch in the same half hour, and then it is quiet again. That rush is exactly what a food truck setup is built for. We usually serve in under 60 seconds an order, depending on the menu, so the line keeps moving and nobody misses their next class.
One truck comfortably serves 60 to 600 across a service block. Pick one cuisine to keep an activities budget tight, run several trucks side by side for a big open day, or stagger service across a staff day. For a huge open day or an O Week launch, above about 500 or when you ask, we add trucks across our fleet of five cuisines, so a big crowd gets variety and choice instead of one long queue.
We set up where campus life happens: lawns, quads, plazas, forecourts and car parks. Every truck is fully self contained with its own power and water, so we are not drawing on building services or running leads across a walkway. All we need is a level, safe spot to park and serve.
We coordinate access, parking and timing with your facilities and security teams ahead of the day, the same way we work with venue operators at big events. Tell us the campus and the spot you have in mind and we will work in with how the site runs.
The practical side is sorted too: access and bump in, safe parking, a level service area, traffic management, waste, wet weather cover, and insurance documents for your records.
Students are a tough, fun crowd to feed, and our fleet covers it: Birdman Korean fried chicken, low and slow American BBQ, Abu all halal snack packs and kebabs cooked over the flame, tacos including slow cooked birria, and Nillas Belgian frites. Pizza rounds it out for the bigger days.
A diverse campus needs real choice. Everything on the snack pack truck is all halal, there are vegetarian and vegan options across the fleet, snack packs are gluten free and we can do gluten free wraps on request. Our trucks handle gluten, so we cannot guarantee zero cross contact, and we are not formally halal certified, which we are always upfront about. Working to a student union budget? Pick a single cuisine to keep the per head cost controlled, and scale up when the event is bigger.
Feeding large crowds quickly is our home turf. We have catered more than 1,500 events and served big public crowds at Vivid, the Formula 1 and Laneway, so an O Week launch or a packed open day is familiar territory. Picture orientation week on a Sydney campus: a couple of trucks on the lawn, tacos and loaded fries flying out, a queue that never stalls, and a feed that gets students talking about the place.
If you are working out numbers for a big day, our guide to guest counts helps, and you can see how we run high volume festival service in our Laneway festival case study.

Managed campus grounds are generally straightforward; if a spot is on public land, that may need council approval, which we can help with.
