Sydney runs on food trucks. We're a family run fleet of five, cooking fried chicken, BBQ, halal kebabs, tacos and loaded fries. Started with a market stall and a borrowed $100,000. More than 1,500 events later, you can book one truck or the whole lot, all inclusive from $18 per head.

If you want to browse Sydney's food truck scene, weekend markets, festivals, breweries and pop up events are the places to start. If you want a truck for your own event, the truck comes to you. Tell us your date, guest count and location, and we'll bring the whole setup to your venue.
It started with Jay selling saj manoush at farmers markets and soccer games on the weekends, about two grand over two days, while working a bank job during the week. Then three slipped discs, right at the point he had to decide whether to play it safe. He quit the job instead. His dad lent him $100,000 to do it, and that bought the first truck in 2016.
It didn't work straight away. He'd smoke meat for hours and still run out of brisket by midday, which meant service was over whether the queue agreed or not. So he pulled it apart and rebuilt it. Better suppliers, smarter prep, a kitchen laid out around getting food out fast without the quality slipping. That rebuild is the reason we can handle the volume we do now.
Since 2016 the fleet has grown to five trucks and more than 1,500 events, from Formula 1 and Vivid Sydney down to a primary school carnival in the rain. Sydney's food truck scene has come a long way in that time, and there's genuinely great food out there now. We're just glad to still be part of it.

Just about anything. Across our own fleet of five you can get Korean fried chicken and smash burgers, American BBQ, gourmet kebabs and snack packs, Tex Mex tacos, and loaded Belgian fries. For a bigger event you can bring in more than one truck and give guests a proper choice.
Yes. Every product on our kebab and snack pack truck is halal, and we can put together an all halal spread across the fleet for your event. The business is not formally halal certified, so please ask us about any requirements before booking.
Both happen in Sydney. Trucks trade at public spots like markets and festivals, but for a private event the truck comes to you. Our trucks are self contained with their own power and water, so on private property with flat, safe access we are good to set up and serve. Public spaces such as parks usually need council approval first.
The Food Hub has a minimum of 60 guests. One of our trucks comfortably serves up to around 600, and for bigger events we add trucks from our fleet of five. We have catered events of more than 2,000 people.
